The Common Room is a store & workshop space created by owner Chelsey Everest Eiel in August 2017. The space features fine art and functional wares by local womxn and nonbinary artists, and is open to any artist who feels othered or marginalized in more traditional spheres.

The mission of The Common Room is to provide its artists with a voice, a face, and a paycheck. Its vision is to become a hub for collaboration and social change, through intentional workshops, impactful community events, and citywide networking with other women and minority owned businesses.
